The IPA radio club station OZ5IPA intends to begin using modulation form
PSK31 in the near future. This communication form is carried out in
English with the RF radio connected to the sound card of a PC. This type
of modulation has the advantage of low bandwidth and low power. Additionally we look forward to visiting EA8, the Canary Islands and Tenerife, all of which are
possible. We are
also looking at Svalbard, Scarborough Reef and the Isle of Man. In October 2000, the IPA was accepted as an NGO organization. Radio
amateurs should therefore be able to participate in NGO exhibitions around
the world. IPARC members from several countries could get together to make
a stand which represents the IPA ideals and the IPARC. These are new
thoughts not yet discussed by the IPA, but who knows? DANIDA and other
such organizations may begin to notice these people, who are accustomed to
communicating in several languages and to express themselves in writing.
